Magen Software was built on a simple idea: the businesses that keep the Philippines running — sari-sari stores and retailers, restaurants, service companies, and everyone in between — deserve back-office software as dependable as the people using it. So we built one suite that handles payroll, accounting, point of sale, and billing together, fully at home with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR requirements, instead of four separate tools fighting each other.
Magen means shield.
In Hebrew, magen (מָגֵן) means shield — and a shield signifies protection, confidence, and reliability. That's the promise behind everything we build: software you can stand behind, because it stands behind you.
It's a name drawn from Scripture, where God says to Abram:
“I am your shield, your very great reward.”
